Summer activities in and around St. Anton
In a paradise of summer adventures
As a guest at the Hotel Montana – located in the pedestrian zone of St. Anton – you are right in the middle of the action. All facets of the summer are at your fingertips to enjoy.
Stylish boutiques and shops with tempting Tyrolean specialties are close by. Two doors down you can rent mountain bikes and e-bikes. Outdoor pool, swimming pool and wellness centre, climbing gym and golf course are just a few steps away. And even the valley stations of the two mountain cable cars in St. Anton are only a five-minute walk.
And another big plus point on a summer holiday in St. Anton: with the Summer Card you can enjoy many activities free of charge or at a reduced price (see below).
Golf above the roofs of St. Anton
A view of St. Anton and the surrounding peaks of Verwall and the Lechtal Alps are particularly beautiful. Our nearby golf course in St. Anton is small and perfectly formed, its nine well-kept holes keeping beginners and advanced golfers entertained with a mountain view. We – Marianne and Niki – are passionate golfers ourselves and would be happy to accompany you on a round of golf. And there are several more good golf courses within an hour for even more rounds of mountain golf – we will be happy to advise you!

Yoga in the mountains
Yoga stretches and strengthens the body – and at the same time trains inner calm, strength and mindfulness. There are few better places for this spiritual sport than the mountains – long known as very special places of strength and rest. No wonder the St. Anton Mountain Yoga Festival attracts more and more people every year. But even without a festival, you can of course experience yoga in the mountains – or with a view of the mountains – of Arlberg.
Your Summer Card Plus: one free yoga class (as per weekly programme)
Climbing – on the mountain and indoors
Indoors and outdoors, “arl.rock” combines everything for bouldering, lead climbing, via ferrata and ice climbing as well as the new climbing trend of dry-tooling on a climbing area of almost 1,000 square metres. A true high Alpine climbing paradise awaits you on the mountain itself: the “Climber Paradise Arlberg”. Countless bouldering and rope climbing routes offer everything a climber’s heart desires – from beginners to advanced 9+ (Gneisfelsen Darmstädter Hut; Schnann Gorge). Incidentally, the Arlberg via ferrata is one of the five most beautiful climbing tours in the entire Alpine region. A fantastic challenge for true experts.
Culture
The Ski and Local History Museum St. Anton am Arlberg in the stylish “Villa Trier” is more than just a bad weather alternative. Immerse yourself in our exciting history of skiing and get to know St. Anton’s ski pioneers and ski heroes. In the Gand Mine you can follow the exciting traces of the centuries-old history of ore mining in the region. And the folk group “D’Arlberger” will inspire you with a spectacular show about life in the mountains at the Tyrolean evening.
Your Summer Card Plus: free entry for all three!
And even more summer adventures!
In addition to climbing and bouldering, you can play tennis and squash indoors, as well as get involved in trampolining and bowling, in the arl.rock sports park. Outdoor tennis in a picturesque landscape is available at the Arlberg WellCom. Holidaymakers with a gaming nature and team spirit will be delighted by the escape room (in the Murrmel Bar). The Arlberg Kayak School offers rafting and canyoning for whitewater fans. And then there’s paragliding with a sensational view over the valleys and mountains of the Arlberg massif – a truly heavenly experience.
And the Summer Card Plus offers one archery and torchlight hike free of charge (as per weekly programme).
